april 29 ~ kindness
STEP 1: Color a Picture
Print one of these to color! I simply google image searched kindness coloring pages, so there are plenty others to choose from. |
STEP 2: Random Act of Kindness (at a distance)
- Send a letter to a family member you haven’t seen since quarantine and put it in the mail.
- Send a video message to one of your teachers, telling them what they mean to you.
- Help a sibling with their school work while your parent/guardian is working from home.
- Clean something in your house to alleviate some todo’s for the adults in your home.
- Connect with a friend digitally, in writing, on the phone, etc. and remind them how incredible they are.
- Give several positive comments/affirmations on social media…. Only kind words!
- Volunteer to do anything helpful for something in your house! It will mean a lot!
- Make a craft, draw a picture, decorate your sidewalk, bake a cake, etc. to brighten someone’s day.
april 15 ~ disciplined
THINK ABOUT IT...
- What does it mean to be a disciplined person?
- How does being disciplined apply to our time away from school?
- Considering how we might be change out thoughts, perspective, and actions to make a positive change... Does this require discipline?
- Do you have to be a disciplined person during our “state of emergency?” How? Why?

Consider these thoughts...
You may have already watched this video, but it is fitting for our character trait this month - discipline. Sometimes our schedules and plans are disrupted, but we have to find a way to change our perspective to find the positive these changes. This requires a type of discipline that I am not sure we often have to tap into. |
